The novel is split across the three volumes. Benjamin Disraeli was a politician and served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom .With half titles to volumes one and two as called for, and the vanishingly scarce publisher's catalogue to the end of volume one and advertisement leaf to volume three. Sadleir 726. In quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, worn to the spines and boards with bumping to the head and tails of the spines and loss to the spine of volume one. Previous owner inscription to the title page of all three vols, dated 1845.
