This is a Good Only Copy of this Book in red cloth with black title lettering to spine and upper cover,in a Fair Only dust-jacket that has some loss to the wrapper at head of spine (approx 1 inch and a 1.2 inch chip to base of spine with further smal along both the top and bottom edges of the dust-jacket.The wrapper is worn and frayed along it's fore-edge and there is some staining and dust-soiling to the rear panel of the d/j.Not Price Clipped (showing 6/- net to front flap) The book has NO former owner's names or inscriptions present.There is some foxing and one large stain mark to the fore-edge of the book.Illustrations are by Eileen Soper and with illustrated endpapers.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.The wrapper now comes well protected in a cover sleeve,8vo 190pp 1st Edition 1st Impression [1949].
