This volume is volume twenty of a collection of plates from Munchener Bilderbogen which was a periodical established by Wilhelm Busch and published between 1859 and 1875. The periodical was known for its hand coloured satirical illustrations. This volume contains sheets from number 457 to 480, with twenty three folding hand coloured plates.Undated, dated 1868 from inscription and plates. In the publisher's original hardback binding. Externally, smart with some marks to the boards and spine. Previous owner inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1868.
