In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Rear joint is cracked, exposing the webbing of the binding. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss and lifting to the head of the spine. Light rubbing to the front joint, with a small crack to the tail. A few minor marks to the boards and rubbing to the extremities. Some spots to the fore edge. Front hinge is starting but firm. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some scattered spots. Good . Ill.: Sidney Paget. Good .
