Number one hundred and six of seven hundred and fifty hand numbered copies produced.Illustrated with a frontispiece and twenty-eight plates, illustrations and facsimile title pages. Collated, complete.Loosely inserted is Charles Dickens's bookplate, printed from the original copper-plate, which was acquired by Henry Southeran following Dickens's death, and produces by the Piccadilly Fountain Press. This bookplate was produced to appear inside the subscriber edition of the Lombard Street Edition of Dickens's novel, and retains the publisher's envelope.An excellent copy of this detailed bibliographical study. In the publisher's original morocco-grained cloth binding. Rubbing to joints and back strip head and tail, resulting in small losses to the leather. Otherwise, externally very smart.
