In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Rubbing and a little wear to the leather, heavier to Volume II with a crack to the spine and joints starting. A little bumping to the extremities. Small patch of loss of leather to the rear joint of Volume II, and a little loss to the head and tail of the spine. Minor rubbing to the paper to the boards. Rear hinge of Volume I is starting but firm. Hinges of Volume II are starting but firm. Internally, Volume I is firmly bound, Volume II is generally firmly bound.
