There is an introduction to the fables and discussion of who Babrius was within the preface. Bound by Bone & Son.With a bookplate for Percival F. Hinton, who was a local historian and scholar of Birmingham with a keen interest in poetry, to the front pastedown. In the publisher's original cloth binding.
