Contemporary ink inscription from the previous owner to the title page. In the original full vellum armorial binding with gilt lettering. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the extremities and spine. Handling marks to the boards. Some light spotting to the free endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Binding slightly strained between pages 64 and 65. Ink inscription to the title page. A tear to page 85, though this does not affect the text. Pages very bright and clean. Very Good . Ill.: Various.
