First edition of A Time in Arabia by Doreen Ingrams in the original publisher's binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Signed and inscribed by the author. Includes 23 monochrome plates and one map. Collated complete.Doreen Ingrams was a writer and colonial figure who worked in South Arabia. Author's inscription to the title page is a dedication to 'Shortt', her maiden name, her mother and father's name, and sibling's names. It is unclear who the dedication is to. It reads:'Schortt, Without whom this wouldn't have been written&apos. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. The dust wrapper is slightly worn to the extremities. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
