BOND,MICHAEL - Paddington Goes to School Original Typescript (Published As Paddington on Top)

London, 1974. Soft cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. This is a very rare original typescript from Michael Bond (Paddington Bear Creator) It appears that this typescript was never published as 'Paddington Goes To School' but was published in the same year 1974 and the title changed to '' Paddington On Top '' illustrated again by Peggy Fortnum and it contained all seven Chapters that are present in this typescript beginning with 'Paddington Goes to School' and ending with '' Comings and Goings at Number Thirty-Two '' There are several corrections to the text,underlinings,crossed out words etc etc.numbered pagination totals 68 in all,comes housed in blue/grey cover with typed label to the upper cove and with stapled type hole punched binding.Great collector's item,very unusual and of course difficult to ascertain whether or not there is anymore copies out there.( see pictures) measures A4 format 12'' by 8.5'' dated 31.1.74 and 25,000 words typed to the title page..
