London: Truslove & Shirley, 1892. 1892. - Large octavo, tan cloth titled in gilt on spine & in gilt within decorative frame stamped in gilt on front cover & with device stamped in black on rear cover; t.e.g. The covers are lightly bumped & rubbed with tiny white marks to the front cover; the head & tail of the spine are slightly chipped. xvi & 280 pp. Profusely illustrated in B&W with frontispiece, plates & textual illustrations. The book is mildly cracked at p. 161 & p. 193; there are some pencil notations on the verso of the rear endpaper; there is occasional soiling & light foxing. Very good.
