This is a Very Good Copy of this book in red cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine,in the very rare Dust-Jacket that is graded Very Good and has a few small closed tears to the oputer edges of the wrapper.The dust-jacket remain clean and bright and is unfaded.Not Price clipped with 15/- sticker onto the front flap of the wrapper.This copy was clearly given as a token of thanks to many years of service in a school in Lancashire and to the verso of the title page are 14 names of colleagues etc.Illustrated with over 20 wonderful photographs taken by the Author.Story of one man's unchartered adventures into the wilds of the Canadian Far North West,hunting and shooting trips,laying traps and visits amongst friends of eskimos and Indians,finally they arrive at the great lake of the Sleeping Islands.Maps as endpapers.The book has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness.Light spotting age toning to page edges,such a rare book in any form and especially in it's original dust-wrapper,8vo 192pp First Edition [undated circa 1948/40].
