Contemporary halfcalf, spine gilt in compartments; covers with decorated paper (leather and paper rubbed; corners bumed with some loss of paper). viii, 32 pp.: 15 leaves ('Index alphabtique des noms de ville, bourgs et communes') and 1 leaf 'Errata' and about 170 pp. explanatory text interleaved with the maps. Folding frontispiece "Carte gnrale" and 85 (of 86 maps (1 folding). All coloured in outline, by hand. - The map of "Jura" is missing. Brown spots in places, but acceptable copy.
