Folio, green cloth back and lower board, color-illustrated paper-covered upper board. Early gift inscription on ffep. Hinges are split and the bookblock is nearly detached from covers. Slight edgewear to upper board. The plates are clean. However, three leaves each have a short closed-tear at the bottom edge, but only just affecting the illustration on one leaf. And another leaf has a longer closed tear (approx. 3") which does enter the image. This is a desirable title that normally commands a very high price. This copy is complete, but in less than ideal condition, and is offered with all faults. .
