This is a Good Copy of this Book in blue cloth with silver title lettering along spine,in a Good Dust-Jacket that has 2 or 3 tiny closed tears to the outer edges of the dust-wrapper.The book has had some water leakage at some stage and this staining has penetrated throuigh onto the underside of the wrapper and also to it's front and rear flaps and bottom edge of the rear cover.There is some staining to the book along edge of the front endpaper.Not Price clipped.Despite the obvious flaws in condition this rare copy has been signed by the Author on January 7th 1955 and the inscription reads........ '' with sincere affection W Murdoch Duncan '' this signature is on the dedication page of the book which incidently was to Cherry Kearton the Nature Writer and traveller.This copy has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.No loose leaves,no turned corners to the text,a trifle of tanning to the page edges and there is NO fading to the outer cover of the dust-jacket.Rare Signed copy by this Author 8vo 208pp First Edition 1st Impression [1955] The Author was a prolific Scottish thriller author and wrote over 200 crime novels under his own name and under various pseudonyms such as John Cassells,Neill Graham,Peter Malloch and Lovat Marshall..
