It is illustrated with two folding maps and over sixty illustrations as well as countless plans.Volume II, 'Worcester and District', is a revised fourth edition from c1927. It is illustrated with sixty illustrations, numerous plans and four folding plates, including a folding map frontispiece.Volume III, 'The New Forest', contains sixty illustrations and was printed in 1925. It contains three folding maps.Volume IV, 'The Thames from Putney to Cricklade', was printed c1918. It contains five charts of the river, six folding maps and over ninety illustrations.Each volume is complete with advertisements to the front and rear of the work.Ink inscription to the cover of every volume bar 'The Thames&apos.All are undated; dated from Jisc.A marvellous set of topographical works set in the south of England, richly illustrated with photographs and maps. In the publisher's original cloth wraps. Externally generally smart; spines are a little faded and worn to the head and tails.
