The Netherlands, ca. 1880. A silver miniature "book" (5.0 x 2.6 x 0.9 cm). = Dutch silver tinderbox in the shape of a book, made in the 19th century. The "book" has a round "spine" with four raised bands; the "panels" are vertically engraved with thin lines, and the "fore edge" is hollowed. The top edge can be opened. Dutch tinderboxes are usually made of tin. Silver pieces are much rarer.

Buyers within the EU must also pay VAT (Value Added Tax), based on the rates in the country of the buyer: low rate on books and high rate on prints, manuscripts and original artwork, unless they posses a VAT registration number.
