This volume also contains contributions from Edward Syslvester Morse ("Old Satsuma," p. 512-529), Henry James ("Two Countries," p. 82-116), Constance Fenimore Woolson ("Neptunes's Shore," p. 763-779, and "A Pink Villa," p. 837-856), and H. Rider Haggard ("Maiwa's Revenge," p. 181-209, 345-363). Thick octavo. viii,972 pp. Bound in a contemporary binding of three-quarter black leather with black cloth sides, and title printed in gilt on spine. Ex library; bookplate on front pastedown, no other marks. The leather is rubbed at edges and scuffed on spine; but the volume is clean within. Very good. .
