Original, near uniform printed wrappers. = The first natural history journal of Thailand. Ilustrated with lithographs and photographic plates. A run from the start, however, with some - possible - gaps. Present are: Vol. I(1, 5); Vol. II(1,2,3) [of five?]; Vol. III (1-5) [Complete with index]; Vol. IV (1-4) [of five?]; Vol. V(1-4) [Complete, with index]; Vol. VI (1-4) [of five?]. For a total of 22 Issues. Deals mainly with the ornithology, herpetology, mammalogy, and entomology (in particular Lepidoptera) of Thailand. Also on crabs and other crustaceans, fish, plants, etc. Including descriptions and illustrations of new species. The last Issue VI(4) has the title changed into The Journal of the Siam Society, Natural History Supplement [In continuation of the Journal of the Natural History Society of Siam]. Some scattered foxing; a few wrappers a bit chipped at edges, but generally in a very good state. Rare.
