Text is printed within a double-rule border on each page. Marbled paper wrappers, starting and with a little edge-creasing at spine; but clean within and very good overall. Included among the maxims is a temperance message that is typographically arranged to form "The Tree of Dissipation" and ends with "The root of all is DRUNKENESS!!.
