Handsomely bound by Glasgow-based binders MacLehose in a sumptuous green calf binding with marbled boards and endpapers, five raised bands, and gilt to the edges and spine. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear and a minor rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities; the title label of volume two has suffered a minimal loss.
