1975. MEREDITH, William. COUNTRY STARS. Ten-line manuscript poem, written-out on a four-by-six card in the poet's hand. Inscribed "For Kay and Ted, with old friendship and affection - Bill," and dated January 1975. Starts out "The near-sighted child has taken off her glasses/ and come downstairs to be kissed goodnight." On the back is written "Here in Florida with Harriet, who sends her love." Fine. .
