Original printed wrappers. = Rare and finely illustrated atlas on the Cretaceous molluscan fauna of Portugal, published over a long period and not often found complete. The quality of the specimens is generally good, the plates are excellent. Each Série has its own title page, two have an additional title. Text numbering is consecutive. Plate numbers start anew for each of the following eight groups (with total number of plates between brackets: céphalopodes [22], opisthobranches [1], prosobranches siphonés [6], prosobranches holostomes [4], lamellibranches siphonés [11], lamellibranches asiphonés [3], Ostreidae [7], Sénonien [2]. In other words, seven plate sections are taxonomical, one is stratigraphical. Uncut. Stamp on front wrapper and a few text page lower margins. Wrappers (on inferior paper) detached, edges chipped, otherwise very good, clean and complete.
