Paris, Schonenberger, 1838, in-4°, 28 x 22 cm, colour printed decorative title-page, 12 large lithographic vignettes, 12 songs with engraved music (each 2 or 3 pp). orig. blue watered silk binding, edges gilt (back damaged with small loss). Nice romantic music album with compositions by Gaverade, Belmonté, Barateau. The lithographs, by Jules David, were printed by Formentin & Cie. Théodore Labarre (1805-1870) was from 1851-1855 director of the private music of Napoleon III. Being a harp virtuoso he also wrote a study; ''Méthode complète pour la harpe.''. .
