Written by Francis D'Ivernois, and translated from the 'Tableau de La Revolution Francois A Geneve&apos.  D'Ivernois was a Swiss lawyer, essayist and politician. He was a counter-revolutionary and wrote many tracts on that subject. He was a political exile that established himself as a diplomatic agent for the British cause against revolutionary France. This English translation was encouraged by Jeremy Bentham, as an instructive guide for British government ministers. ESTC reference no.
