Illustrated with 64 color lithographic views on 38 leaves, with a page of descriptive text facing each plate. One plate, showing the Old State House at Boston, MA, was produced using a new process by the Heliotype Printing Company of Boston by printing color on top of a photographic image. Small quarto, green cloth over beveled boards, gilt-stamped title to upper board, brown coated endpapers, all edges stained red. Ink inscription on front fly-leaf. Shelfwear to cloth at bottom edges, and a few negligible spots to upper board. Clean within, save for thumbing in fore-margin of a few leaves. A fresh and bright copy, near fine overall.
