Grant was a distant relative of Sir Walter Scott.From the library of James MacLean, with his bookplate to the front pastedown, and stamp to the recto to the front endpaper. MacLean was a Scottish historian and author, a founding member of the Clan MacLean London Branch. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Spine is a little discoloured. A couple of faint marks to the boards. Bookplate to the front pastedown, stamp to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
