Speckled edges. = A major contribution to the knowledge of the peppers by the Dutch botanist of German descent, Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel (1811-1871). Extremely well-illustrated. Includes the descriptions of new species. Published as supplement to the academy's Verhandlungen, or Novorum Actorum. Plates 62 and 63 bound in reverse order. Stamp on Latin title. Some scattered, light foxing, but apparently less than usual, and in all a very good copy. Pritzel, 6266. Not in Nissen BBI.
