Marbled endpapers. Speckled edges. = A major contribution to the knowledge of intestinal worms, written, in German, by the German helminthologist Guido Richard Wagener (1822-1896), and well-illustrated. Includes the descriptions of new species. Published as supplement to the academy's Verhandlungen, or Novorum Actorum. Provenance: the Société géologique de France with their oval stamp on the Latin title. Foxing to the plates, as usual; small chip in the lower outer margin of the last plate, otherwise very good.
