Publisher's uniform black, blindstamped cloth with silver titles on front boards and spines, and black wrappers with title in white on front wrappers and spine covers. = A seldom-seen, massive work on parasitic wasps, often of major agricultural importance, written by the Romanian entomologist and agronomist Mihai Constantineanu (1894-1993). With excellent illustrations of whole animals and taxonomically important parts. For the first two volumes he was awarded the "Emil Racovita" Academy Prize (see Wikipedia). Several new taxa are introduced here. Wrappers with some shelf wear, otherwise a very good, clean set.
