Contemporary bindings: navy ribbed-cloth blocked in blind, title gilt-stamped to spine. Ex-library; bookplate to front pastedown and no other library marks. Pencil ownership to ffep. Minor sunning and chipping to spines, with light rubbing to heels and crowns, and occasional gentle bumping to perimeters. Rear board of volume 3 shows some spotty discoloration. Clean and crisp within. Despite the superficial wear, it is an attractive set. Very good plus. .
