Original printed wrappers. = A well-illustrated paper by the Dutch zoologist Jan [Janus] Adrianus Herklots (1820-1872). Several plates are printed in sepia. Published in volume 9 of the society's Bijdragen tot de Dierkunde. The oversized wrappers a bit frayed at edges; the text leaves and plates fine, except for some minor spotting. An excellent copy. Cat. BM(NH), p. 830. Not in Nissen.
