Original quarter cloth over printed boards. = A very uncommon, massive publication, containing 15 papers by Ernst Haeckels friends, colleagues and students, including E. Göppert, Arnold Lang, and Oscar Hertwig. The second title is of the Festschrift as such; the first is for the Denkschriften der medizinisch-naturwissenschafligen Gesellschaft zu Jena, volume 11, which forms the Festschrift entirely. Currently there are no other copies on the internet. Some wear to the boards; vague stamp on titles and front board, otherwise very good.
