A detailed study, including several examples of criminal behaviour by the French medical doctor, anthropologist and criminologist Étienne Émile Adolphe Dortel (1858-1909). The author draws seven conclusions, starting with "The criminal does not exist (explicitely contrary to the theory of Lombroso). Uncut. Wrappers a bit soiled and with a chip in the front wrapper, and on the spine ends. Otherwise a good, clean copy. Very rare.
