Gilt title on the spine. = A rare work on vertebrate anatomy by the French naturalist (chiefly malacologist and palaeontologist) Charles Robert Alexandre de Gaux Des Moulins, or Desmoulins (1798-1875). The explanations to the plates are present. All the plates are rather foxed. The text should comprise two volumes, which are not present. See Cat. BM (NH) I, p. 446.
