He was responsible for securing the right to publish reports on debates in Parliament. His work 'A Review of Mr Pitt's Administration' was popular with the opposition. William Pitt the Elder was a British Statesman of the Whig group. He was Prime Minister in the middle of the eighteenth century. This work gives an account of Pitt's life and career.ESTC reference no: N30262. In this year several editions of this work were published, including a two volume set. A smart four volume set of this work.
