A revision of Quincy's Lexicon Physico-Medicum previously issued by the same publisher in 1802. iv,[588],28 (i.e. actually 30, but the pages are misnumbered) pp. + an advertisement leaf. Octavo. Worn contemporary binding of full leather, with gilt-lettered spine label. It is edgeworn, with rounded corners, moderately rubbed and soiled at sides, and sunned at spine. Text leaves are age browned, with a few scattered pencil notations. The first few leaves have a small dampstain at the fore-edge margin, and two U.S. postage stamps (T. Roosevelt, five cents) adhered to the ffep. A solid, very good copy. (Shaw & Shoemaker 23771). .
