Includes information on extraordinary charges, injuries, libels, the removal of ambassadors, the rights of gifts and much more.Simon van Groenewegen van der Made studied law in Leideb and gained notoriety as a commentator of Grotius and for this work, which remains the leading work on Roman law in the Netherlands.Grotius was a Jurist in the Dutch Republic and laid the foundation of international law based on natural law, writing the still influential Mare Liberum.The work is split into six parts covering areas digested into Holland, codes of order, fief customs and much more.
