Southampton: Ordnance Survey, 1939, [1958]. Softcover. A folding cloth-backed map, mounted in illustrated card bookfold covers, with a 39pp booklet bound in. The map and the booklet are in very good condition; the covers are in good minus condition (some creasing and chafing of the yapped edges, some chipping of the spine panel). The covers feature an illustration of a Roman Fort and Saxons (catalogue entry 91 in Map Cover Art). The map and the booklet are dated 1939, but this is actually a reprint from 1958 - the booklet has the print code 1000 3-58 in the printer's colophon, and the map has the print code 3263.
