First edition. 8vo. blue pictorial paper-covered boards, pictorial endpapers, color frontis, black & white text illustrations. Just faint bowing to the front board and a hint of a skew to the binding. Text and illustrations are fresh and bright; near fine, in a dust jacket with some minor nicks, chipping to the edges. There is some minor soil and a faint dampstain to the rear panel, light skimming, and creasing to edges of the front panel, but the front panel illustration remains bright and appealing; this is a very nice copy. .
