Nürnberg, A. Bieling, 1752. Folio-size (40.4 x 25.5 cm). Printed, partially hand-coloured plate. = A fine plate from a rare and interesting work by the German painter, engraver, and naturalist Johann Daniel Meyer (1713-1752). It depicts the skeleton of an eagle (Aquila spec.). The plate in very good condition. French translation added in a neat old hand, otherwise very good, clean. Anker, 338; Nissen IVB, 630.
