Red leather with heavily gilt decorative tooling, spine title in black flag, 5 raised bands, front bd has heavy gilt embossing of school emblem showing rampant camels of Merchants Taylors School, edges are gilt gaffered, interior edges dentille tooled, page edges are marbled as are eps, presentaion plate is pasted to front paste down, damp stain to rear ep, two title page with nice frontis etching plus tissue guard, pp 854 with 10 nice etching. Interior clean bright and tight, not foxed. Near Fine/No Jacket.
