'The Reivers' is a novel set in the first decade of the twentieth century, following a young boy name Lucius Priest, who accompanies his friend, Boon Hogganbeck, to Memphis, where Boon hopes to marry Miss Corrie. Written by the noted American author William Faulkner, who is well known for his novels 'As I Lay Dying', and 'The Sound and the Fury&apos. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart. A very small amount of bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. A few spots to the fore edge of the UK edition. Minor edgewear to the dustwrappers. US edition dustwrapper with some discolouration to the reverse, and sunning to the spine, with a few light marks to the dustwrapper. A few light spots to the reverse of the dustwrapper of the UK edition, with light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
