 1552438630,
A two-volume bound set of trade catalogues containing typespecimens from the Duch type foundry Enschedé en Zonen. A type specimen is issued by type foundries, digital printing font publishers or printing companies to showcase the fonts available at the company and the various ways in which they can be used. On a plano, in a brochure or in a book, one or more fonts are shown either in capital or lowercase. The font may be shown by including the entire alphabet or by showing a text. The latter application comes in many variations, for example a (part of a) meaningful treatise, a pangram or a piece of pseudo-Latin such as Lorem ipsum.Issues in these bindings range from (possibly) 1923 to 1927, but do not always show a publishing date.convolute - chemigraphy - type specimen - letterproef - catalogue - typography - typografie - chemigrafie - Enschedé - Haarlem - typefaces - lettergieterij - snelpers Half linen and marbled/decorative paper binding, 26.5 x 20 cm.
