With etched title page by Jan Luyken titled 'Waarheid vertreedt de Twist en Nijd in het bijzijn van de Vrede' (also in the collection of the Rijksmuseum), and liminaria by C. de With Jz.Johannes Molinaeus became a member of the Remonstrant brotherhood in 1667 and pastor of Zegwaart and Zoetermeer in the same year. He eventually moved to Rotterdam, where he died in 1702. Molinaeus published numerous religious texts.Enclosed is a small receipt confirming the payment of a newspaper subscription, dated april 1959.
