A dog sitting on the doorstep, looking towards the viewer. Dated and numbered in pencil on the bottom right corner of the sheet: 5 April 1864, N. L3, Monogrammed on the bottom left on a panel hanging beside the door: WM. Etching on paper, in chine collé; with margins; plate mark: 127 x 81 mm, total: 304 x 232 mm; despite some very light staining on the external left margin, in great condition.
