Printed title, 34 pp. Disbound. Red edges. = First and perhaps only edition of rare work by the German polymath Jacob Christian Schaeffer (1718-1790). It deals with mayflies (Ephemeroptera), here named "flying shore bait", most probably for being an important food-source of fresh-water fishes. The work was printed by the Gebrüdern Zunkel, not published by them. Paper slightly toned, remnants of a label in the title page margin, otherwise a very good copy. Nissen ZBI, 3638.
