Among the hundreds of images are iconic as well as unknown photos by, among many others, Lewis Hine, Chien-Chi Chang, Abbas, Robert de Hartogh, Wang Fuchun, Dorothea Lange, Stephan Vanfleteren, Ara Gu'ler, Leonard Freed, Ata Kandó and Ishiuchi Miyako. With text contributions by Joumana el Zein Khoury, Stine Jensen, Hanneke Mantel, Rim Battal, Rodaan al Galidi, Danny Ramadan, Anke Reitz, C Pam Zhang and Asma Khan. Book accompanying the inauguration of the FENIX museum in Rotterdam on May 16, 2025. All pictures from the book will be on display at the exhibition of the same name.
