Damave, Poppe (1921-1988) - [Original etchings] Mother and child, 1954.

Three epruves d'artiste impressions of three different states by Poppe Damave, possibly a portrait of the wife of the artist breastfeeding their daughter Wilhelmina, born on the 31st October 1954. The different states show the progression of the invention and work of the artist. Signed at bottom with annotations on the various states in pencil. Etchings on paper, with some margins; plate mark: 108 x 82 mm, total: ca. 132 x 96 mm; in great condition; with some fresh ink traces on the margins.
