After a drawing by Buytewech.The plate was issued in the Northern Netherlands by Hendrick Hondius before 1650.Signed on bottom: WBuytewech Inuent G.v.S. fecit Hh excu.Two lines of Latin text below: Rhenano producta solo lactaria Cymbae / Committit muliar, justo vevenda valore.Also numbered: 8 at bottom center.[NL] Boeren meisje uit het Rijnland, met een kip onder de ene en een platte houten bak onder de andere arm. Zij staat bij een aanlegsteiger. Staande jonge vrouw uit Rijnland. Nr. 8 in een serie van acht jonge vrouwen in Noord-Hollandse klederdrachten. Met onderschrift van twee regels in het Latijn.
